How do I transfer an existing UK domain from another ISP to Arcadiahost?

To transfer a UK domain to Arcadiahost, you must first instruct the current ISP to update the IPSTAG on the domain to "ENOM".

Once this has been done you should contact us and let us know the name of the domain you are transferring. When the domain has been retagged, Arcadiahost will update the DNS for the domain to point to our servers, completing the transfer of the domain.

Transferring the domain will not extend the expiry date of the domain. ISP’s will normally retag UK domains for no cost, although they are allowed to charge a small administrative fee.

Should your ISP not co-operate with your UK domain transfer, the governing body for UK domains – Nominet can change the IPSTAG on the domain for a charge of £15+VAT.
